Default 110cc engine swap

Has anyone tried to do an engine swap from a 2010 Honda Elite 110cc to a Honda Ruckus or Metropolitan. I have the Elite that runs and drives but was in a fire so all the Tupperware is kind of melted. I could just replace all the panels that could cost as much as $1200 or my buddy has a Ruckus that does not run and he has always wanted it to go faster. I can also pick up a Metropolitan for pretty cheap. Which way should I go. I want easy.

well i don't think there are a lot of guys frankensteining scooters on this board but i'll say what i know. i haven't done one but I would say check out the motor mounting situation, check if the carb is the same type (some pull a slide from the top, some have a butterfly on the side) or you will have to get new throttle cables, and because ot the difference in power and size, the weights in the clutch most likely will have to be played with.
