The post is worded performance ch150 because for years everyone has been saying that there is no way to modify these great scoots. Well guys I got news for you. A new era is among us and it’s gonna be a fun one! What you’re looking at here is a tiny TURBO on an 85 ch150. All the work was done in my home shop over the past 4 months or so. This unit is going to be running a Honda grom throttle body and intake, I custom made an intake adapter for the grom throttle body to clear the thermostat housing. It has an ls style coil because the fueltech won’t run the old style coil. It gets its brain from a fueltech ft450 Ecu with a wideband so it can self tune! All the hot side piping is stainless. All the boost piping is aluminum. Factory throttle cable works with a little modification of the grom throttle bracket. Oil feed is from the external oil lines that run to the head, oil return was drilled and tapped into the crank case. Factory crank trigger is compatible with the new efi system. This is a test to make proof of the concept then that’s where we start to go crazy. I have a complete spare motor that I’m going to attempt to build. A few spare heads and cams also so I will be custom grinding my own cams and again trying to see if I can build a cool bottom end.
