Default 1987 prelude 2.0 si good buy or trash?

Hello all never been on a forum before but im interested souping up my new ride please all advice and criticism welcome i got lucky and bought a gem but would like to make it a beast it has 159k only came with cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust its very fast has a 13 or 14 gallon tank says citizen japan on the quarts clock dash j in the beginning of the vin wth did i just buy?

welcome to the forum. You purchased Honda's hot rod at that time of 1987. normally aspirated engine. if you want to soup up that car, it would be to replace the engine, unless you plan to keep the stock engine and change cams for more performance or add a turbo. i'd keep it as it is, its already a good performing car.

Welcome in, I agree with 52, those were some good looking well performing cars in the day, wax it and change the fluids.

Default Not too sure if my msg got thru

Its the a 5 speed pgi not the carburated one i did a bunch if reasearch on this car and i think it was imported also ferl like i may have stage 2 clutch but not sure online it says 0 to 60 in 10 seconds mine does it in like 5or6 it will burn the rbber off the tires in 3rd gear someone already did alot if work to it its been to new york texas and i guess lived in ga till i got it
