My 2013 Honda Accord randomly locks when they key is inside. The dealer can’t figure out what is causing it. Has anyone else had this problem? I am very concerned because with two infant grandchildren this is a major safety issue. HELP!

 

welcome to the forum. until you can get this resolved, you might want to find a place outside of your car the you can store a spare key or one on your person wallet, purse as a back up. Possible key fob battery need replacing, Smart entry system needs troubleshooting.

 

I have Already hid a key but I shouldn’t have had to do that. The first time at the dealer they adjusted the key lock setting...that didn’t work. The second time they replaced the key fob battery....that didn’t work. The third time they tried to get it to duplicate what it does with us but they couldn’t. Has no one else ever complained about this before?
