2001 Honda crv

It started off with our engine running rough and had to warm up or it would die when you'd put it in drive. We replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, distributer cap. Valves were readjusted, the first couple times it helped for little while and further adjustments didn't help.

Then the head was rebuilt, resurfaced, new head gasket put on.

It still misfires. Please please help. We are ready to ditch the thing but thought we'd try posting here first. Any help is appreciated. Thank you so much.

Did you do a compression test? The exhaust clear?

How do we test the exhaust?

 

Do a youtube search. Several ways.Pull the front O2 sensor is easy enough if you can get to it easily.
