Default Civic been instorage for 6 years

I have a 2003 4dr LX that has been instorage for 6 yaers. I know i will need a battery, put some tires on it, check belts, coolant, brake fluid, What about the fuel. Should I drain it, if so how. Should i top it off with an additive, should I pump some through the system by passing the injector rail or what. Got any suggestions. All welcome

welcome to the forum. I did a honda a few years back, in storage 3 years. I had the fuel hose pump to drain as much out of the tank as possible, 0 on the guage with the fuel low light on, filled up full with fresh gas. opened up the fuel line before the fuel filter and turned the key on to pump some fuel out. rehook up line and removed soft line up to the fuel line and drained as pump on. Hooked up line and turned key on until pump got quiet then started, no problems. I did get a bit of water during the draining, not much but the gas had a bad smell, and brown coloring.
