Hi,

Does anyone know what this piece is called and if there's a video on YouTube on how to replace it? I was replacing my rear brake pads yesterday and noticed it. Brought the car into Honda for an oil change last week and they never mentioned anything about it. It's a 2015 Honda Odyssey.

The part is simple. The cause of it being “mushed” is problematic.

Weak spring, overloaded vehicle, jumping over speed bumps or getting airborne are likely suspects.
