Default CRV Low gear

I guess my cr-v 2020 hybrid has no low gear. Does Sport help?
Does Sport help heat up the engine sooner?

welcome to the forum. the 2020 cr-v comes with a cvt. there is no actual low med high gear, it just slides from low to high as the car speeds up. keeping it in a low gear keeps the cvt turning at a higher rate to warm the car up. try not to over rev the engine.

You mean drive slowly? The Honda mechanics had no answer. I was transfered to sales. Waste of time.

until you're up to temp driving slow helps to warm up the engine, or you might think of changing thermostat to the next temp higher which will warm up the engine quicker. and you are correct, leaving it in a lower gear will help to warm the vehicle up.

I am surprised that Honda does not put electrical heaters in their Hybrids. These modern engines are very efficient and take much longer to warm up.
On top of that, going slow may just engage the electrical motor only which then does not heat the engine. All in the name of saving gas.
Only thing I can think of is to turn the car on and have the climate control set to warm the cabin air before you get in.
