Default D16y7 to D15b2 Swap

Hi, I have a 98 Honda civic DX with a D16y7 in it, manual transmission. recently a rod bearing went bad and long story short one of the journals on the crankshaft got worn down. I just found a D15b2 out of a 94 civic that I got for 40 bucks and I have already swapped out the old motor and installed the D15b2. Runs great(minus a few little adjustments I have to make. So this is the first swap I have ever done and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some info on anything I need to be aware of with doing this. like is it going to pass smog? do I need to change anything since the original motor was OBDII and the new one is OBDI I think? also I kept my original wire harness and there were a couple plugs on the harness that didn't have anything to connect to. The original(D16y7) motor had wires coming out of the block just above the alternator(no idea what they are) and this D15b2 does not have them.

o if anyone could give me some tips I would greatly appreciate it
Thank You

welcome to the forum. If you're in Ca. the general rule is change engine to newer is ok, to older will cause smog problems. you might go to a smog only station and have them check it out, or ask them before you go there.
