Default Greetigns from AUS

Hi everyone. I just got myself a 2009 Accord with 3.5 petrol engine and 5-speed automatic. The car is fine, it actually rides great, there's just one thing - when I go forward in 1st gear and turn the steering wheel it makes a strange mechanic sound like when it has to overcome some obstacle. I assume the car has hydraulic power steering. Is there any maintenance interval related to power steering? The car has 120k miles. I didn't find any relevant maintenance instructions on the web, only the owner's manual.
Thanks.

Welcome in,my guess is it's the steering column locking mech,as you turn it bypasses the lock when your key is engaged.
