Hello everyone!
Hello, I'm Eric. I'm new here so I figured I'd tell you about my.. well, my fiance's car. The car is a 2001 Acura 3.2tl that we purchased with our income tax money the year before last. We had just recently had our first son and were looking for an affordable four-door car. Wearily, we spent hours flipping through pages on Craigslist and in the Facebook sale pages. We knew that our timing was awful and the market was as picked over as it possibly could be, but we NEEDED a car, (Our only car at that point was a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder). Finally, we came across the listing for our car - and it seemed too good to be true, giving the timing - The car had 89,000 miles on it, service records from the day it was purchased until current, one owner.. the transmission recall work had been done years ago when it was issued, all preventative and regular maintenance had been done, the car had been re-painted and underwent a transmission overhaul the year prior, and had lived it's entire life in Northern Florida, up until six months before we bought it here in St. Louis. Apparently, miracles do happen. We met the gentleman about 30 minutes from our house and very swiftly handed him his $4,000 asking price. Apparently, he had been contacted by about fifteen people before us but not one of them actually showed up to see the car. Lucky me! How did you get your (or your significant other's) Honda?
