Try pressing down on the gas pedal to rev up the rpm
Does the engine stall or the engine smooth out or stay rough??
If it smooths out then could be a vacuum leak
Try spraying brake cleaner near the intake manifold
Caution to not spray connectors or electrical devices.
If the engine smooths out at any time then vacuum leak found

welcome to the forum. engine idle up and down cold, clean the idle air control valve, engine idle up and down warm, check the radiator to see if the water level is full, (caution if hot, it will blow out and burn you) start engine cold and have the radiator cover off and watch level, make sure there is no air in the system by bleeding the valve close to the head area. if there is no air in your radiator system, it is the exhaust control valve dirty, you can check by tapping on it with a plastic handle of a screw driver or take it apart and clean it, if super dirty, replace it.

I think your trying to tell me if I had a problem with the engine maybe to do that but I think my problem has to do with the transmission tho not the engine
could it be the pmc in the ecu the tranny has fluid in it but when you go from park to drive there is a clunk sound you can feel it but if I go down to first and shift like it's a manual it's ok

Did you check to see if you have a dirty exhaust and or clean it or replace it., Did you check to see if the radiator system is bled and has not air in the cooling system. both of these will cause the engine warm idle to go up and down.

The idleing is fine now so far since I switched my ecu the problem now is the tranny I think when I put it in drive there is a clunking sound and when I drive it it has no power at all it moves but no power it's an automatic if I switch the gears my self it's fine and in reverse it's fine full power what can the problem be now ???
