Default Honda Sensing Question

Hi all,

I'm looking into getting a 2017 Honda Civic either EX or EX-T. On Honda's site it lists that the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) & the Road Departure Mitigation System are a Honda Sensing feature and are "available" for both the EX & EX-T. I guess I'm wondering about two things:

-To have it included, is it just something that needs to be "activated" and not installed?

-I'm assuming there's an additional cost to have it on the EX or EX-T since it lists it as only being a standard feature under the Touring. Does anyone know what the estimate cost of including these features would be?

Welcome in,this is just a guess but I would think if it's included in a package it would be factory installed ,a dealer can tell you more about it.

Go to Shop Current & Upcoming Vehicles | Honda and build your car.. Lots of information there about the trim levels and features of each one.
