Default Milage is 14mpg, 2022 CR V, EXL

Why is it so low? Could something be wrong with my car?

Take it to the dealer. That's bad.

Smile Bad gas milage

I always get at least 25 mpg often a little better . Unless we are doing a lot of stop and go driving or garage sales . Some things to check are . Tire pressure my tires are at 32 PSI I do not trust the tire pressure indicator on the car dash I manually check pressure every Week , I look for any Parking brake drag or any wheel drag . I will get on smooth level pavement black top is good accelerate to about 20 mph and then let the car coast it should coast easily in Drive gear with your foot off the gas pedal and also smoothly with no vibrations or pulling to the side .
Temperature outdoors is a factor you will get worse mileage in very cold weather and then in very hot weather too with the AC on ...Jack rabbit starts take a lot of gas . Also leaving the car running or with the air conditioning running while it is sitting and black or dark color cars use more gas when running the air conditioning . Check on the internet about temperatures inside dark color cars compared to light colored ones that is why my cars for the last several years are white they use less gas and are cooler in very sunny weather the heat can actually melt plastic parts in cars so I look for trees to park under or maybe go to a shady parking garage in very hot weather . . I always turn the car off while stopped , waiting for long trains or any time the car is sitting for more than a minute or so in traffic .
Love my CRV ! Bob Michigan

The post stating the authors post was a year old is almost a year old itself making the OP almost two years old.

Top that off with the easily obtainable knowledge that the author has not logged in since his post I would think that you are not likely to get a response.

Just sayin…
