need help with 91 civic i took the whole distributor off and didnt put a mark on it so the timing was off when i put it back on.. ive been tryin to start the car no luck..tryin to figure out how to solve the problem

ive never marked mine and have never had problems getting it to work.. did you turn the crank after you removed the dizzy?? because if not there are 2 different sized notches on the shaft it should slide right on and not be out of timing
