Default New 2019 Honda CR-V Owner, First Post

Hi All, thought I'd better start an initial post. This is my first Honda. Only 2500 miles on the car and I am finding lots of things that puzzle me. It will probably take a while for things to shake out. Carry on.

welcome to the forum. hope you will be happy with your CR-V. always allow the turbo to cool down if you have one a couple of minutes if parked after a hard drive.

Is that CRV with turbo or non turbo.
I have always like things simple
So, my preference is non turbo ... less things to go wrong.

Please enjoy the new ride.

Turbo 1.5L, CVT. Not sure how this relationship will work out.

turbos have been in cars a long time, first on airplanes. if you do a lot of mountain driving, the turbo is great, it will always give you 29.92 atmosphere air to the engine, not loose power as normal asperated engines. does use special oil due the heat it puts out. to date not many problems have come up except in cold temp areas but i believe honda has fixed this. also honda is trying to keep with the USA smog and milage, so smaller engine but using exhaust to boost power.
