What's up guys! I have been lurking a while, I had a 2002 civic SI in 2002 when I was 18, it was my favorite car ever. I was t-boned and it was totaled. My mom's first car was a 1983 red civic hatchback, and then she graduated to a 2002 civic EX and she loved it. Now its been decades and I am back into the Honda world with a mint 1983 Civic 5-speed.

Hey hay. Your girl needs an engine. That may require long distance travel. Have you done any searches?

Hey grcauto! I have, and you are right. I have found zero reman places with this engine in stock. It's too old, they all say. The earliest gen I found was a 1996 civic motor. I have no idea if that will fit =(

If you know someone that can fab the mounts and the exhaust and and everything is clear it'll work.

I don't have someone locally that's all that good with custom work. I am pretty rural and my neighbor welds, but only basic stuff. Do you know anyone who has done a swap on the mark II? I would love to stick a b18b in here, but I doubt I have the time or money.

No. I've not done that swap and I can't really help you with that. Good luck.

Thank you! If I can buy the hardware as a kit to mount the motor, it would go a long way. Something with instructions.... =) I wish there were more options
