hi USDM, I have a question I hope you can help me with. I have a 94 accord lx wagon that the tranny went out in. its a non v-tec 2.2 auto. got a tranny from JDM engines import inc.. on the back of my tranny are two, two wire harnesses. the new one has the same two wire harnesses plus a 10 wire harness coming out of the lower left rear corner of the tranny. the guy from JDM said that his mech. said it will work and to just ignore the 10 wire harness. A local mech. said it's the wrong tranny. Went to aamaco trans. and they don't know because it's a japanese tranny. hoping you might be able to shed some light on this. Thanks

Is this a manual or automatic trans?

When you look at the wire colors on trans do two of them have matching wire color as the harness

it's an automatic. I got ahold of a second honda mech. and he told me that my 94 is a obd1 and I found the id numbers on the new tranny (VPIE30 and MPJA3053380) and he said this was an obd2 and would not work. On closer inspection of the 10-wire plug on my car the plug is more square then the plug on the new tranny and the wire colors are different. Do you agree it's the wrong tranny?

Sorry if this does not help but I know of 2 sensors. Your speed sensor and you reverse light sensor. If there are two corresponding wires on trans and factory harness i would connect them. On manual trans there are two questions to adress. Do you have a hydraulic trans or a cable trans? And What is the spline count.

If someone has any input it would be much appreciated!!!!
