new member and new to Honda cars
Hello, first time poster here and also new to the Honda motor car. I'm 77 years old retired and married. The Honda Accord is my first car with a name plate not located in Detroit. It is a 2022 model and I really do like it so far. I figure this may be my last car that I have to purchase as it is intended to be my winter vechicle and I have the extended warranty program with the under coating every year for the next seven or 8 years or so and it shouldn't get beat up to badly as I don't drive that much in the winter. This is supposed to be a getting to know me message so there you have it. I live in western NY state about 10 miles from Niagara Falls. Anyways that is the simple version. Hello to everyone.

Why thank you for the reply. I am still getting used to driving it and I feel it should do right by us in the coming years if I can keep it from rusting away. Spring time the convertible comes out of the garage and the Caddy gets uncovered for the new season and the Harley comes home and takes over the garage. So I figure the Honda will have to deal with the elements as they come. The bad is the tree sap and maple tree leaves and those helocopters that come with Maples that tend to stain the paint. I'll keep busy just washing the cars. lol

Welcome to the forum. Personally I believe the civic is a really good car for the younger crowd as it has speed and handling. For me, I prefer the CRV due to the higher position of the seats. I do not have to squat in order to get in the car. 10 miles from Niagara? So close to Buffalo? Recently drove round trip to Rochester from Albany and back. Dropping off relatives. My butt still hurts from sitting in the same position for several hours.
