New Member - purchase question
Looking at 2 Honda’s. A 1998 Civic with 175K coupe and a 1997 Honda Accord Sedan with 215K, both same price. Civic in slightly better shape cosmetically.. Engine wise they appear to be decent. Which is the better choice?
welcome to the forum. the one with the best maintenance, and lower milage. civic gets up to 35+ mpg, accord up to 22 mpg (+/-) civic rough ride, accord smooth ride. civic smaller car to larger accord, i'm a senior and retired, i would take the accord. when i was young and working i would take the civic. also people with back problems get the accord higher off the ground than the civic close to the ground. both cars can go to 350k+ when taken good care of. and depends on dx,lx.ex.style. what are you looking for to spend your hard earned money on.

Accord LX, Civic EX. But, I might agree with you on a bit more comfort with the Accord..
