Probably already out here, but looking to upgrade headlights to LED. Don’t want to cause issues with computer. Also, how do you take care of DRL? Have added fog lights to 08. Me retired IBM 24.5 yrs, 08 LXS, wife retired schoolteacher, 42 yrs, 09 ACCORD, EXL, dog lover, DIY at home, like country music, NFL, unfortunate fan of Redskins, 1 son 39 yo, NCSU fan

 

Not sure about LEDs, but have you considered Sylvania Silverstars (White)? Good light output, and no issues to deal with.

 

I have used the sylvania bulbs before and have been happy with the light quality and they are much cheaper than LEDs.

 

Thank you for your response. Trying to keep 1986 S10 running, bought new in 1986, having trouble finding some parts. Also had tree limb fall on roof of 08 Honda. Took some negotiating with insurance, so they wouldn’t total it, and then what would insurance pay for? Now I can get back to light issue on Honda. Have tried restoring headlight lens with some success. Still trying to get light scratches out. Still show up with OEM halogen. Was looking at LED for both style and function. Went to
Sylvania website and could only enter Accord as model. When I tried looking up Sylvania bulbs recommendation, site asked for sub model, like EX,EXL, LX. When I entered LX-S, said not compatible. Not sure what difference in wiring is, but had same problem hooking up fog lights. Honda kit said tap into green wire on right side. Not there on LX-S. Used JDM KIT, had someone else install. If Sylvania lights would work, I would consider them, but am a little leery of not compatible with LX-S. Thoughts or ideas?
