Welcome to the forum
Older vehicles use to be mostly mechanical
Modern vehicles seem to incorporate a lot more electronics
So a short course on vehicle electricity is a good place to start
Lots of good videos on Youtube.
Then watch a few videos on how to diagnose "No starts"
Two types, "No crank, No start" and "Crank, No start"
Each looks into different systems.
That should get you where you understand about what it needs to get an engine running
Please enjoy the ride.
