I love my '89 Prelude, but it developed suspension problems. I need a rear control arm, but can't find one.
I'm in SoCal and have visited pick a part places. Also, I have called parts houses. Any ideas?

 

Welcome in,sorry you are having the problem,sadly parts for these cars are very hard to find,I would check with a national salvage yard to see if they can locate one out of state maybe,keep checking on line parts houses,good luck.

 

Yeah that sucks. I have a friend and fellow Honda guy, who's brother works at a Honda dealer, and he has said that the 89 accords have the same difficulty with parts acquisition. Like buckwheat said, try and find an out of area junkyard that might work with you in terms of recovering and shipping parts.
