So I got a 93 Honda hatchback EG, this is my first shift car... So for some reason when I take off from first the (RPMs) is not reaching enough torch, or so I think. It takes a while for the car to actually pick up in speed, but in 3rd and 4th its ok.. The two previous owners did some work on the engine. Everything is basically ok when starts, just from take off. May be I got to get use of it, or something may be up with it....... Could use some help thank you

 

has the car been tuned recently, check your timing, if you get yourself a service manual, it will help to save you a lot of repair money and learn about the car. if you are coming out of a sports type car like the Saturn, the Honda is a little slower/sluggish.
