Apologies for perhaps a stupid question. I ride a Honda Sh 125 scooter. On my way home tonight a fellow biker pointed out my taillight wasn't working. My question is. Is my taillight on this particular scooter supposed to be constantly on? My break lights work. The light that illuminates the registration number works. My indicators work. I'm struggling to find an answer to this both in the manual and on-line.

 

welcome to the forum. when i drove mopeds for a year, i had a light switch for night driving and when the headlight was on the tail light was on. when applying the brake, the tail light got brighter to indicate to the people in back i was slowing down/braking. day time no light until i applied the brake.. i believe all mopeds lights function similar for US streets. safety.
