2008 Odyessy Crankshoft Position Sensor, Stallout at high RPM
New, and looking forward to being here folks. My Wife bought a 2008 Odyssey a year or two ago (currently at 225k mileage).
Stalled out when charging out onto a main road (read "high RPM"). Takes ~a minute to be able to restart the car (just cranks unless you wait before trying)
I'll have to remember all the details slowly here over the months. It illuminates several idiot lights but I'll ignore the drivetrain one...
- Turns out it throws a Crankshaft Position Sensor code
- Occasionally throws a Camshaft Position Sensor code
- Bought a cheap (but fast) oscilloscope (amazing)... and I do see spikes (snapshots of Cam / CrankB simultaneously below)
Note the CAM is YELLOW in the first two, and it is versus Crank B
