I just purchased a 2010 odyssey with 20k miles. Is it me or is the steering really heavy on this model? I don't have any wining sounds from power steering but the wheel takes a little too much effort to turn. Is this normal on odyssey?

 

The reasons are: 1. Power pump tubing oil cup short of oil 2) The booster pump belt is broken. so please take check them out.

 

these vans have a recall to replace the power steering pump because it does not give enough assist while in parking lots ect. i would check with your local honda dealership because we do these all the time at the dealership i work at! if not under warranty i would rec. a honda reman. pump and also a good flush. good as new!
