Default 2017 Odyssey Compression Test

Trying to compression test my 2017 Odyssey. Removed plugs and fuel pump fuse, and the Ody didn’t like something about that. It has push button start and nothing cranks when I push the button. How do you compression test this car?

Isn't there a connector that comes from the engine harness that goes to the fuel injectors and the coils? There's usually a connector you can unhook that will disable them.

Thanks. I’m definitely willing to try that. Can you give me any more direction on locating that connector? It’s probably really obvious to someone who knows what they’re looking for, but several harnesses touch the fuel rail at some point and I don’t have a clue which one.

I don't have the wiring diagram for that year. It may be that it doesn't use a connector but just breakout of the main harness.

Here's a manual for the 2013. Much may be the same.
