welcome to the forum. Most hondas cabin filter are behind the glove box. empty glove box, pull in the top ends that hold the glove box from completely falling out (upside down). behind you will find the cover that houses the cabin filter. some covers slide sideways others will drop down or open upward.

you are correct however there is a metal brace behind the glove box that is blocking the snap off cover that houses the air filter element. It looks like this brace and the whole glove box needs to come out. looks difficult Thanks, joe

according to the dealer, the brace is used for assembly of the ody, but can be sawed out. go to the OdyClubForum.com and you will find pictures of how to.
