Hi all: I'm a 1st timer hoping for some input. Am considering buying a new LX but am disappointed with it's center console (?) down on the floor. I want the full size console that's in the EX and above, but I don't want to pay another couple thousand to get it since I could care less about the extra goodies the EX has over the LX. I've been told the console can be removed easily and would like to know if anyone knows if and where a complete, fully assembled console can be bought. The Honda parts dealer's I've checked with, all have the individual components to make up a console, but I can't believe if there was an insurance claim on a console, some tech would have to sit down and put the pieces together like a jig-saw puzzle. I will appreciate any response.
