I am wanting to do somethings to my hinda to make it a little quicker. As it sits(exhaust, headwork) it runs a 14.9 with a 2.2 liter engine 5 speed tranny. I love this car to death, it is so fun to drive. But i want to make them mustang drivers feel dumb lol. A friend of mine said to take out the backseat, carpet it, an throw a 150 shot on it. He also said to throw a v-tec head on it. Im not looking to see 11's or really even 12's. So nothing to drastic. I was going to put a 80 trim turbo on it, but my money supplies were low at the time. Now i would like to keep it all motor. That way when i beat a v8 i can laugh. Whats your input?

 

Is your car 4 cylinders or 6? How can you make it beat a v8? I don't know much about cars so please excuse my ignorant questions.

 

Posterlady: the 93 accord comes with a 4 cylinder 2.2l engine. It is a good economical car, fun to hotrod, and is great for handling. It can also be modified quite a bit. To beat a mustang with a 8 cyl, this Honda needs a k20 engine with a turbo charger. It then can produce 300+ horse power but the price is over 5k to mod. fastasf*ck21 is doing well for what he now has, changing his heavy windows to plastic will lighten up the car a lot, If he adds the turbo with an innner cooler this adds a bunch of hp to the engine. type-r stickers normally work pretty well, the basic ones (black) add about 50 hp min
