b18 motor
You could do either and see a decent improvement. I had a friend drop a B18c into his Prelude and it gave him a lot more power. But, the difference is:
H22: 220 hp@ 7200rpm, 163 torque @ 6500rpm,
B18c: 170 hp @ 7600rpm, 128 torque @ 6200rpm,
B18c specR 195 @ 8000rpm, 130 torque@ 7500 rpm
I have a 95 Integra that I'm going to drop a B18c specRinto when the stock motor dies. Personally, I would prefer the efficiency of a VTEC. If you increase the power too much without beefing up the transmission, you might end up having to replace it next.

you probably have an h23 in a 93 dont you? I would just save up to swap an h22a. You could also build the motor and turbo it, which is what im doing. The h23 block is strong, but you need to make sure you build it first with the right stuff, if you do, you could boost it to 8-10 psi. You will get more power and it would cost about the same. to swap a motor will cost you like 2000+ for a good h22a and if you dont know a mechanic, like a thousand to put in. good luck
