VWs are notoriously unreliable especially there electronics. there ridiculously over engineered. i mean look at this mess.

Well that depends on person to person. I love VWs, especially classics like the Type 1 Beetle and the Type 2 Van. I'd like the Jetta (Diesel) for a modern ride too!
