Default Upgrade your headlights on the cheap

Hello Everyone,

Been a long time lurker

Found hidextra.com and they are having a 50% off black friday sale!! Looks like this is the last time they are doing 50% off Black Friday too. I just picked up a couple backup kits for my Civic.

yep, DDM not bad, but prefer HIdextra because they provide you all the extra stuff without charging extras like DDM.

they only provide a cheap relay harness thats not even a large enough wire gauge for the application. i wouldn't even use that i would buy one with a proper gauge. ill take a lifetime warranty over 1 year anytime.also you have to pay extra for the hid extra digital slim ballast DDM is still 30 bucks. so DDM got you beat by a longshot.

I was wondering whether HIDs consume more power than standard halogens. Could someone shed some 'light' on this? Also how long do HIDs last in comparison to normal lights.

Did you try to install any type of LED headlight on an 08 or later Honda Accord? It was suggested I try Sylvania no led halogen. When I went to Sylvania table all I could answer was Accord as model. When I started looking at availability for recommended bulbs, they asked for sub model like EX, EXL. When I entered LX-S, I got a not compatible with LX-S. I ran into same problem hooking up fog lights. Honda kit said tie in to green wire on right side. LX-S did not have green wire. I bought JDM kit and paid someone to wire it. A little leery buying bulbs that say not compatible. Thoughts off ideas?
