Default Where can I find a used intake resonator for a 1999 2.3l Accord?

I needed to replace the resonator before when I was living near Phoenix and I bought a replacement for $35 from LKQ, but I couldn't find one through their site, so I e-mailed, and they said that it would be $87 and change. That seems excessive for a nonessential part. The best price that I found was $74.25 from Honda Parts HQ, which had free shipping Thanksgiving weekend. Amazon and eBay would cost more. Car-part and RockAuto do not show anything. I now live three and a half hours from Phoenix and do not know the next time that I will be down.
Is there any chance that any of you deleted your resonator and would be willing to make a deal?
Thanks!

welcome to the forum have you tried salvage yards, ebay and text the seller of the large salvage yard, pick a parts, or go to a cold intake legal for state. i have also used google and looked for parts where salvage yards reply with cost and phone.

There are only a couple of junkyards between here and Phoenix (which is 3.5 miles away) and they do not have it. As I mentioned, the ones on eBay are going for more than Honda Parts HQ.

like acmech said...you can do a national used parts search...I did it a few times to try and find parts for my 99 accord .the only problem is a lot of the yards just don't keep parts that old..i would try , you never can tell

National parts search? Through car-part, which doesn't show it?

that could be a problem . 20 year old cars ,most auto wreckers just don't keep them or the parts around...
