Default 89 CRX Bogging issue

Hey guys I recently bought an 89 CRX with a d15 non vtech motor and having a bogging issue. i have seen on other forums that people lead to the distributor and wiring. im kinda new to hondas so im a little lost. I checked all the easy stuff as for as plugs, wires, etc. I checked the rotor button and it seemed ok. The distributor was leaking some oil (don't know if thats enough to cause an isue like this). I currently have no alternator belt on it cause i need to put the crank pulley back on (will do that later). I also know that some people have said that may be an issue as well. Dont really know where the proper grounds need to be. And also dont know if the ECU could be the problem either cause i dont know what car the ECU is from (had an ls turbo in it and now it doesnt, hence the OB1 conversion) But thats pretty much the situation. If anyone can throw some knowledge my way that would be super awesome and appreciated. Thanks alot and i cant wait to drive this little guy Everywhere!

The issue could be related to a bad or miswired TPS. People often mix the plugs for the TPS and the MAP presuure. Check the operation of the TPS.

I forgot to bring home my DMM so i could voltage drop it but i switched the MAP and the TPS and that made it worse so im gonna assume that wasnt the issue. The only other things im thinking it could be are 1. Timing 2. Alternator 3. ECU 4. Distributor 5. Ground

The only thing that really gets me is that it idles perfect its just at higher RPM. Maybe it cant supply voltage for spark cause the alternator or coil is not functioning properly?
