I was driving along listening to FM radio and the sound went out for about 2 seconds, then it came back but was on a different station. The presets at the bottom of the screen show the correct stations, but pressing them only brings up 87.9. Using the controls on the wheel allows moving through presets 1-6 (supposed to be 10), of which all are 87.9. This happened once before back in June. I thought it would fix itself like it did last time after I shut the car off and resumed the next day. But this time it has continued through 2 restarts. I can use the seek button to get it back to a station I like to listen to and used that to get home. I might now have the ability to demonstrate to the dealer what the behavior is. If it still acts up tomorrow, I will try to show it to the dealer and see what they say. So far, CarPlay still seems to work fine.

Anyone with insight on to what might be going on? Loose connection? I can understand a loose connection causing it to forget the presets. But the presets still display with the correct channels, but using them takes me to 87.9 regardless of what the preset is. And how would a loose connection cause it to only display 6 preset channels when it has 10?

 

And of course, this morning it is working fine so I have nothing that I can show the dealer... Had to reset the presets but all of the slots seem to be working now.
