Just got an Emissions Problem notification. I've been noticing stutters at start and other noises that had me suspecting issues with the fuel injectors so I figured I'd start with that for a fix. Had a few questions that I didn't readily see in a quick search:
1) I noticed a lot of the fuel injectors online at reputable stores are listed as "Remanufactured". Should I avoid these or is this a good way to reduce costs?
2) Is it safe to drive with this indication or should I stay parked?
3) Should I replace the fuel rail when I replace the injectors?

 

How do you know the injectors are the problem? I'd start with fuel pressure and ignition system. Plugs, wires etc.

 

First scan the ECU for DTC (diagnostic trouble codes)
This will tell you more about what the actual problem is.
