2020 Pilot Remote Start NOT Working Properly
Remote start not extending runtime longer than 10 minutes. First of all, the Owners Manual, the way the sales staff shows you, and all the videos online are very misleading. They all have you believing that the runtime can be a total length of 20 minutes by repeating the remote start procedure anytime during the initial 10 minutes of runtime and my pilot is not doing that. Took it in for service and was told that you can only extend the runtime 10 minutes from when the second procedure took place. In other words, if you perform the initial remote start procedure at 10:00 and then perform the second procedure at 10:05, the car will run to 10:15. Not very happy about it and feel like I was misled and taken advantage of. But it does not end there, my pilot wasn't even doing that, so they changed the keyless access system after speaking to "Honda Tech Line" and it still is not working. The dealership tried it on a few more pilots on their lot and those did not work also. So now the service dept has another call into the "Honda Tech Hotline" and is expecting a reply back on Monday.

welcome to the fourm. i have not heard anyone on this forum with this problem as of yet. i would think since several of the dealers pilots are doing the same, they will want to get it fixed fast. also bug your salesman about how he represented the remote start and it so far is not doing what he has stated.
