Default Aftermarket backup cameras for 2017 Pilot?

I'm on my third Pilot since 2005, now driving a 2017 touring Pilot.
The backup camera is blurry now and the dealer wants 850 bucks for the new OEM part.
I find aftermarket backup cams for about 100 bucks online.
Anybody have experience with these?
Worth trying?
Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum, i don't have experience installing back up cam's but for 100.00 vs 800.00 i'd take a chance. it may last a long time. make sure you have its own fuse and electrical system.

Making these kinds of decisions is quite overwhelming, especially with that huge gap in the price difference. I found a link that would sum up the advantages and disadvantages of OEMs and aftermarket replacements. Here's the link: https://www.edmunds.com/car-maintena...car-parts.html

Thanks guys, both of the answers. I ordered the aftermarket part and will post my experience with it.
Thanks

OK, I got the part in and installed it. A very easy job. It is working perfectly, all three view modes (wide view, medium view and down for parking) are working.
It seems to be a 100% success. Let's see how long it lasts.
The original honda cam only lasted 2 years, about 12000 miles before it started going bad.
Anyway, I would do this again.
