Default Dash gauge identification

My 2019 Pilot has a linear gauge below the speedometer display. It is a cyan-colored bar that extends from left to right. It is labeled with 0 on the left 25 in the middle and 50 on the right. What is it telling me?

welcome to the forum. works with your throttle, when stepping hard the bar stays closer to the lower side to indicate approx miles per gallon. when coasting its up near the 25 or more miles per gallon.

The gauge is telling you the instantaneous gas mileage you can expect from your input from the gas pedal. Some people just ignore it. Others will use it to adjust their driving habits to improve gas mileage.
