Default drain bolts - 2016 Pilot

I am dropping all lubricants next week on my 2016 Pilot (oil, transfer case, trans, and rear-end). I would like to replace the drain bolts with magnetic tipped ones.

Are the drain bolts the same for all 4 locations? Recommendations on were to buy the magnetic replacements?

thanks

Ken

Don’t know about magnet bolts but I recommend replacing the oil bolt with a Fumoto valve.
I believe that the trans bolt is already magnetized.

Welcome in,I would not use a drain valve myself,it's possible to run over something and open that valve ,if this happens you have seconds to shut your engine down. Magnetic plugs are fine, your parts house of choice will no the demensions of them.

The valve is tucked up by the pan. It’s very unlikely to be randomly hit by something. It might be more likely that you’d hole the pan itself with the same result or strip the bolt hole.

What I'm referring to is one that has a flip down action that opens a gate valve.

I think the Fumoto uses a ball valve. It doesn’t protrude past the bottom of the pan. It also designed so a casual knock won’t open the valve.
