i got the head of a safety pin stuck in the lock of the glove compartment, whats the best way to remove it?

 

Welcome in,my first question ,how did you accomplish that? And is it stuck in the portion of the lock on the outside or inside ? Is the glovebox door closed?

 

my son was playing lock picking with the safety pin, must of read too many fantasy books.
when he put in the pin, it first got stuck, then when he can not take it out, i use a pillar and try to pull it out, but only pull out the pin and left the safety pin head piece in there.
