Roof Rack on 2021 Honda Pilot Special edition

Roof Rack on 2021 Honda Pilot Special edition
I was wondering if anyone has had luck placing a roof rack on the 2021 Pilot Special Edition. We have the crossbars on but there is no gap between the car and the running racks to strap anything down.
