My 90 prelude with an automatic is givin me some trouble. It is stuck in drive all the time, the shift lever will move to what ever gear i want but the tranny wont shift. Could this be caused by bad tranny fluid or is it more than likely worse?

 

welcome to the forum. has the tranny fluid be changed on a proper intervals, are you using Honda fluid only and not dextron 3 or 4 from the auto parts place.

 

I would also check your linkage to see if a fastner may have come loose.
