I have a meticulously rebuilt RSX Motor from a 2002 RSX Type-S that I am willing to sell for around $2500. This motor was slowly and carefully rebuilt during my vast amount of freetime when I held job as a technician at a local Honda dealership that could barely give me two hours of work a day. I replaced all pieces of rubber in the motor (including the valve seals), the valve keepers, the head bolts, the crankshaft, one connecting rod, all piston rings, all connecting rod bearings,the water pump, and all mainshaft bearings. It was rebuilt using Honda/Acura procedures and specifications as well as Honda/Acura factory parts. After spending 5 years as a heavy line technician at an Acura dealership, the procedure was very familiar to me and not the first Honda/Acura motor rebuild I had performed. The assembly includes the exhaust and intake manifolds, but without the throttle plate and idler pulley. This motor will fit both the 2002 and 2003 model years of the RSX Type-S without modification(the motor is slightly altered for 2004 model year). I have a few pictures of the bare block, bare head, and the complete assembly for those who are interested. I have not installed the manifolds for the ease of shipping. I am willing to deliver it within about a 100 mile radius of Kansas City.
