Is there a way to permanently turn off the auto stop/start feature. I know that it can be turned off on the center console but turns back on every time car is started. Thanks

 

welcome to the forum. being your ridgeline is under warranty, i would recommend going to the dealership to do this. doing any type of tampering may void your warranty. they will show you how to do it with it not coming back to auto start.

Yes I did and they said that there is no way for them to turn it off. Also stated a lot of customers request it.

 

Boy I hope something can be done to shut this feature off, the only thing I don't like on 2020

 

Does the Auto Start/Stop behave the same way when pulling a trailer?

The F150 work around is using a lighted hitch cover plugged into the trailer plug in. It thinks there is trailer and turn off the auto start/stop.
