Critter in the cabin air filter
Hi All,
I've recently traded in our CRV for a new Ridgeline. While we had the CRV, we twice had a problem with a squirrel or a chipmunk somehow getting into the cabin air filter housing, and tearing up the paper filter for nesting. The paper pieces were then swept into the air ducts by the fan, causing clogs and severely diminished air flow to the cabin. Two questions: has anyone else experienced this with any Honda? and, if so, was it a Ridgeline?

Welcome in,I can't say I ever heard of this type problem, but may I suggest taking a powerful shop vac and connecting it to where the filter is located and tape it up good so you get good suction and vacuum that trash out. Good luck.
