Closing on a 2018 Ridgeline RTL-E, Certified Pre-Owned with 33,000 miles on it tomorrow.

Got a quote for 5yr/120k mi Honda Care for $1,490.

Given all the tech in the car, particularly on this trim level I am very tempted to pull the trigger. My wife drives a CR-V, and we have AAA, so the added value of roadside assistance for both our vehicles over 5 years has nearly a $500 value right off the top, if we cancel AAA.

Any thoughts on this move? I never buy extended warranties but this one has me tempted.

 

Welcome in,I myself would not opt for the extended warranty,I have owned four Hondas over the years and because of thier reliability don't feel it's necessary . That's just my opinion,if it makes you feel more secure and you can afford it ,go for it but read all the fine print and understand the co pays associated . Good luck.
