Default Window Woes

I have a 2006 Ridgeline. Have had it about 2 years now. I know that with the remote transmitter if you push the unlock button once and push and hold again all the side windows will go down. Well this has not been an issue with me but recently I have given a key to my wife, who drives it every now and then, she keeps the key in her pocket book filled with everything. It appears that from time to time something is pushing the buttons and the windows will go down. I have googled and looked in the owners manual and cannot find a way to cancel this feature. Does anyone here know if this is possible to cancel this. It is becoming a real issue being as this morning I woke up to a wet interior because of the dew and it was really hard scraping the frost from the inside of the windshield. She has also been to the store and came out with all the windows down. Thanks in advance

Welcome in,not sure how or if you can cancel this feature, talk to your dealer for info ,what I would do is find a small container to put the remote into to insulate it from accidents .

Though I have not looked into yet a lady from church who has a MDX with this problem said she ordered a "rubber fob cover" on ebay and the problem occurs less frequent. So I think what you are suggesting bucwheat is the way to go. Thanks for the input.

I did give her a key. Please read the problem again. If you know a way to disable this feature then reply back. Thanks
